Yup!
I was living in RI from age 3-13. I was a happy kid living in Central Falls because there were lots of Latinos, so I fit in and no one had any real excuse to pick on me. Then my parents wanted to live somewhere “nicer” so we moved over to NP. It’s like the Jersey Shore of RI. And if you weren’t a proud Italian, you were fuccccked and treated like an illegal immigrant by kids and teachers!
Rhode Island is beautiful, though.
But besides RI, I’ve lived in NH and MA, too.
